Matt.2.3When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him;
Matt.2.18“ A voice was heard in Ramah, weeping and loud lamentation, Rachel weeping for her children; she refused to be comforted, because they are no more.”
Matt.2.22But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there, and being warned in a dream he withdrew to the district of Galilee.
Matt.4.12Now when he heard that John had been arrested, he withdrew into Galilee.
Matt.5.21“You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’

Matt.7.24Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be a wise man who built his house on the rock.
Matt.7.26And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be a foolish man who built his house on the sand.

Matt.12.24But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, “It is only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, that this man casts out demons.”
Matt.12.42The queen of the South will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, something greater than Solomon is here.
Matt.13.9He who has ears, let him hear.”
Matt.13.13This is why I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.
Matt.13.14Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says: “ ‘ You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive.
Matt.13.15For this people’s heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.’
Matt.13.16But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear.
Matt.13.17Truly, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.
Matt.13.18Hear then the parable of the sower:
Matt.13.19When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the path.
Matt.13.20As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is the one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy,
Matt.13.22As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it proves unfruitful.
Matt.13.23As for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty.”
Matt.13.43Then the righteous will shine the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

Matt.21.33Hear another parable. There was a master of a house who planted a vineyard and put a fence around it and dug a winepress in it and built a tower and leased it to tenants, and went into another country.
Matt.21.45When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his parables, they perceived that he was speaking about them.
Matt.22.22When they heard it, they marveled. And they left him and went away.
Matt.22.33And when the crowd heard it, they were astonished at his teaching.

Mark.5.27She had heard the reports about Jesus and came up behind him in the crowd and touched his garment.
Mark.6.2And on the Sabbath he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were astonished, saying, “Where did this man get these things? What is the wisdom given to him? How are such mighty works done by his hands?
Mark.6.14King Herod heard of it, for Jesusname had become known. Some said, “John the Baptist has been raised from the dead. That is why these miraculous powers are at work in him.”

Mark.6.20for Herod feared John, knowing that he was a righteous and holy man, and he kept him safe. When he heard him, he was greatly perplexed, and yet he heard him gladly.

Mark.6.55and ran about the whole region and began to bring the sick people on their beds to wherever they heard he was.

Mark.12.37David himself calls him Lord. So how is he his son?” And the great throng heard him gladly.
Mark.13.7And when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. This must take place, but the end is not yet.
Mark.14.11And when they heard it, they were glad and promised to give him money. And he sought an opportunity to betray him.
Mark.14.58“We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another, not made with hands.’ ”
Mark.14.64You have heard his blasphemy. What is your decision?” And they all condemned him as deserving death.
Mark.15.35And some of the bystanders hearing it said, “Behold, he is calling Elijah.”
Mark.15.44Pilate was surprised to hear that he should have already died. And summoning the centurion, he asked him whether he was already dead.
Mark.16.11But when they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they would not believe it.
Luke.1.13But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.

John.9.27He answered them, “I have told you already, and you would not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you also want to become his disciples?”

John.11.4But when Jesus heard it he said, “This illness does not lead to death. It is for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”
John.11.6So, when he heard that Lazarus was ill, he stayed two days longer in the place where he was.
John.11.20So when Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met him, but Mary remained seated in the house.
John.11.29And when she heard it, she rose quickly and went to him.
John.11.41So they took away the stone. And Jesus lifted up his eyes and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me.
John.11.42I knew that you always hear me, but I said this on of the people standing around, that they may believe that you sent me.”
John.12.12The next day the large crowd that had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem.
John.12.18The reason why the crowd went to meet him was that they heard he had done this sign.
John.12.29The crowd that stood there and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said, “An angel has spoken to him.”
John.12.34So the crowd answered him, “We have heard from the Law that the Christ remains forever. How can you say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?”

Acts.2.6And at this sound the multitude came together, and they were bewildered, because each one was hearing them speak in his own language.

Acts.9.13But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he has done to your saints at Jerusalem.
Acts.9.21And all who heard him were amazed and said, “Is not this the man who made havoc in Jerusalem of those who called upon this name? And has he not come here for this purpose, to bring them bound before the chief priests?”
Acts.9.38Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men to him, urging him, “Please come to us without delay.”
Acts.10.22And they said, “Cornelius, a centurion, an upright and God-fearing man, who is well spoken of by the whole Jewish nation, was directed by a holy angel to send for you to come to his house and to hear what you have to say.”
Acts.10.31and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your alms have been remembered before God.
Acts.10.33So I sent for you at once, and you have been kind enough to come. Now therefore we are all here in the presence of God to hear all that you have been commanded by the Lord.”
Acts.10.44While Peter was still saying these things, the Holy Spirit fell on all who heard the word.
Acts.10.46For they were hearing them speaking in tongues and extolling God. Then Peter declared,
Acts.11.1Now the apostles and the brothers who were throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God.
Acts.11.7And I heard a voice saying to me, ‘Rise, Peter; kill and eat.’
Acts.11.18When they heard these things they fell silent. And they glorified God, saying, “Then to the Gentiles also God has granted repentance that leads to life.”
Acts.13.7He was with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, a man of intelligence, who summoned Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the word of God.
Acts.13.44The next Sabbath almost the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord.
Acts.13.48And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed.
Acts.14.14But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard of it, they tore their garments and rushed out into the crowd, crying out,
Acts.15.7And after there had been much debate, Peter stood up and said to them, “Brothers, you know that in the early days God made a choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe.
Acts.15.24Since we have heard that some persons have gone out from us and troubled you with words, unsettling your minds, although we gave them no instructions,
Acts.16.14One who heard us was a woman named Lydia, from the city of Thyatira, a seller of purple goods, who was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to pay attention to what was said by Paul.
Acts.16.38The police reported these words to the magistrates, and they were afraid when they heard that they were Roman citizens.
Acts.17.8And the people and the city authorities were disturbed when they heard these things.
Acts.17.21Now all the Athenians and the foreigners who lived there would spend their time in nothing except telling or hearing something new.

Acts.19.2And he said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” And they said, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.”
Acts.19.5On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Acts.19.10This continued for two years, so that all the residents of Asia heard the word of the Lord, both Jews and Greeks.
Acts.19.26And you see and hear that not only in Ephesus but in almost all of Asia this Paul has persuaded and turned away a great many people, saying that gods made with hands are not gods.
Acts.19.28When they heard this they were enraged and were crying out, “Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!”
Acts.21.12When we heard this, we and the people there urged him not to go up to Jerusalem.
Acts.21.20And when they heard it, they glorified God. And they said to him, “You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of those who have believed. They are all zealous for the law,
Acts.21.22What then is to be done? They will certainly hear that you have come.
Acts.22.1Brothers and fathers, hear the defense that I now make before you.”
Acts.22.2And when they heard that he was addressing them in the Hebrew language, they became even more quiet. And he said:
Acts.22.7And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’
Acts.22.14And he said, ‘The God of our fathers appointed you to know his will, to see the Righteous One and to hear a voice from his mouth;
Acts.22.15for you will be a witness for him to everyone of what you have seen and heard.
Acts.22.26When the centurion heard this, he went to the tribune and said to him, “What are you about to do? For this man is a Roman citizen.”
Acts.23.16Now the son of Paul’s sister heard of their ambush, so he went and entered the barracks and told Paul.
Acts.23.35he said, “I will give you a hearing when your accusers arrive.” And he commanded him to be guarded in Herod’s praetorium.
Acts.24.4But, to detain you no further, I beg you in your kindness to hear us briefly.
Acts.24.24After some days Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was Jewish, and he sent for Paul and heard him speak about faith in Christ Jesus.
Acts.25.22Then Agrippa said to Festus, “I would to hear the man myself.” “Tomorrow,” said he, “you will hear him.”
Acts.26.14And when we had all fallen to the ground, I heard a voice saying to me in the Hebrew language, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’

Rom.10.14But how are they to call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?

Rev.14.13And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds them!”
Rev.16.1Then I heard a loud voice from the temple telling the seven angels, “Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls of the wrath of God.”
Rev.16.5And I heard the angel in charge of the waters say, “ Just are you, O Holy One, who is and who was, for you brought these judgments.
Rev.16.7And I heard the altar saying, “ Yes, Lord God the Almighty, true and just are your judgments!”
Rev.18.4Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, “ Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you in her plagues;
Rev.18.22and the sound of harpists and musicians, of flute players and trumpeters, will be heard in you no more, and a craftsman of any craft will be found in you no more, and the sound of the mill will be heard in you no more,
Rev.18.23and the light of a lamp will shine in you no more, and the voice of bridegroom and bride will be heard in you no more, for your merchants were the great ones of the earth, and all nations were deceived by your sorcery.
Rev.19.1After this I heard what seemed to be the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, crying out, “ Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,
Rev.19.6Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, the roar of many waters and the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out, “ Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns.
Rev.21.3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.
Rev.22.8I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me,
Rev.22.17The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.
Rev.22.18I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book,
