Matt.5.1Seeing the crowds, he went up on the mountain, and when he sat down, his disciples came to him.
Matt.9.9As Jesus passed on from there, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, “ me.” And he rose and him.
Matt.11.16“But to what shall I compare this generation? It is children sitting in the marketplaces and calling to their playmates,
Matt.13.1That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat beside the sea.
Matt.13.2And great crowds gathered about him, so that he got into a boat and sat down. And the whole crowd stood on the beach.
Matt.13.48When it was full, men drew it ashore and sat down and sorted the good into containers but threw away the bad.
Matt.14.19Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass, and taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.
Matt.15.29Jesus went on from there and walked beside the Sea of Galilee. And he went up on the mountain and sat down there.
Matt.15.35And directing the crowd to sit down on the ground,
Matt.19.28Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, in the new world, when the Son of Man will sit on his glorious throne, you who have me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Matt.20.21And he said to her, “What do you want?” She said to him, “Say that these two sons of mine are to sit, one at your right hand and one at your left, in your kingdom.”
Matt.20.23He said to them, “You will drink my cup, but to sit at my right hand and at my left is not mine to grant, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared by my Father.”
Matt.20.30And behold, there were two blind men sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was passing by, they cried out, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!”
Matt.21.7They brought the donkey and the colt and put on them their cloaks, and he sat on them.

Matt.24.3As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the close of the age?”
Matt.25.31“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.
Matt.26.36Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, “Sit here, while I go over there and pray.”
Matt.26.55At that hour Jesus said to the crowds, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs to capture me? Day after day I sat in the temple teaching, and you did not seize me.
Matt.26.58And Peter was him at a distance, as far as the courtyard of the high priest, and going inside he sat with the guards to see the end.
Matt.26.69Now Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard. And a servant girl came up to him and said, “You also were with Jesus the Galilean.”
Matt.27.19Besides, while he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent word to him, “Have nothing to do with that righteous man, for I have suffered much because of him today in a dream.”
Matt.27.36Then they sat down and kept watch over him there.
Matt.27.61Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were there, sitting opposite the tomb.
Matt.28.2And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone and sat on it.

Mark.5.15And they came to Jesus and saw the demon-possessed man, the one who had had the legion, sitting there, clothed and in his right mind, and they were afraid.

Mark.10.46And they came to Jericho. And as he was leaving Jericho with his disciples and a great crowd, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, the son of Timaeus, was sitting by the roadside.
Mark.11.2and said to them, “Go into the village in front of you, and immediately as you enter it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. Untie it and bring it.
Mark.11.7And they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks on it, and he sat on it.
Mark.12.36David himself, in the Holy Spirit, declared, “ ‘ The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at my right hand, until I put your enemies under your feet.’
Mark.12.41And he sat down opposite the treasury and watched the people putting money into the offering box. Many rich people put in large sums.
Mark.13.3And as he sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,
Mark.14.32And they went to a place called Gethsemane. And he said to his disciples, “Sit here while I pray.”
