Matt.1.16and Jacob the father of Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom Jesus was born, who is called Christ.
Matt.1.21She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”
Matt.1.23Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).
Matt.1.25but knew her not until she had given birth to a son. And he called his name Jesus.
Matt.2.15and remained there until the death of Herod. This was to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet, “Out of Egypt I called my son.”
Matt.2.23And he went and lived in a city called Nazareth, that what was spoken by the prophets might be fulfilled: “He shall be called a Nazarene.”
Matt.4.18While walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon (who is called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen.
Matt.4.21And going on from there he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and he called them.
Matt.5.9Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
Matt.5.19Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Matt.9.9As Jesus passed on from there, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, “ me.” And he rose and him.
Matt.9.13Go and learn what this means, ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”
Matt.10.1And he called to him his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every affliction.
Matt.10.2The names of the twelve apostles are these: first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
Matt.10.25It is enough for the disciple to be his teacher, and the servant his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they malign those of his household.

Matt.21.13He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you make it a den of robbers.”
Matt.22.3and sent his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding feast, but they would not come.
Matt.22.14For many are called, but few are chosen.”
Matt.22.43He said to them, “How is it then that David, in the Spirit, calls him Lord, saying,
Matt.22.45If then David calls him Lord, how is he his son?”

Matt.27.8Therefore that field has been called the Field of Blood to this day.

Matt.27.17So when they had gathered, Pilate said to them, “Whom do you want me to release for you: Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?”
Matt.27.22Pilate said to them, “Then what shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?” They all said, “Let him be crucified!”
Matt.27.33And when they came to a place called Golgotha (which means Place of a Skull),
Matt.27.47And some of the bystanders, hearing it, said, “This man is calling Elijah.”
Mark.1.20And immediately he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants and him.
Mark.2.17And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Mark.15.35And some of the bystanders hearing it said, “Behold, he is calling Elijah.”
Luke.1.13But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.
