Matt.5.22But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire.
Matt.26.59Now the chief priests and the whole Council were seeking false testimony against Jesus that they might put him to death,

Acts.23.20And he said, “The Jews have agreed to ask you to bring Paul down to the council tomorrow, as though they were going to inquire somewhat more closely about him.
Acts.23.28And desiring to know the charge for which they were accusing him, I brought him down to their council.
Acts.24.20Or else let these men themselves say what wrongdoing they found when I stood before the council,
