Electronic voting this morning was a piece of cake: no big lines, just register, get your smart ballot turned on, make a few selections on the touchscreen, and give back the ballot. I found the interface clean and easily understandable, though i think the human factor could be improved in one respect.
They chose a red X to represent your choice. Particularly in the computer context, a box with an X usually means cancel, and red has strong connotations of stop/cancel (for example, an ATM). That's a bit of a quibble, though: overall it seemed like the way things ought to work. We'll see what happens when it comes to the counting part ....
