Matt.1.18  Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child of the Holy Spirit;
Matt.2.1  Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying,
Matt.2.13  Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, "Rise, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there till I tell you; for Herod is about to search for the child, to destroy him."
Matt.3.4  Now John wore a garment of camel's hair, and a leather girdle around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey.
Matt.3.10  Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees; every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
Matt.3.15  But Jesus answered him, "Let it be so now; for thus it is fitting for us to fulfil all righteousness." Then he consented.
Matt.4.12  Now when he heard that John had been arrested, he withdrew into Galilee;
Matt.8.18  Now when Jesus saw great crowds around him, he gave orders to go over to the other side.
Matt.8.30  Now a herd of many swine was feeding at some distance from them.
Matt.11.2  Now when John heard in prison about the deeds of the Christ, he sent word by his disciples
Matt.11.12  From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and men of violence take it by force.
Matt.14.13  Now when Jesus heard this, he withdrew from there in a boat to a lonely place apart. But when the crowds heard it, they followed him on foot from the towns.
Matt.14.15  When it was evening, the disciples came to him and said, "This is a lonely place, and the day is now over; send the crowds away to go into the villages and buy food for themselves."
Matt.15.32  Then Jesus called his disciples to him and said, "I have compassion on the crowd, because they have been with me now three days, and have nothing to eat; and I am unwilling to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way."
Matt.16.13  Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do men say that the Son of man is?"
Matt.19.1  Now when Jesus had finished these sayings, he went away from Galilee and entered the region of Judea beyond the Jordan;
Matt.20.10  Now when the first came, they thought they would receive more; but each of them also received a denarius.
Matt.22.25  Now there were seven brothers among us; the first married, and died, and having no children left his wife to his brother.
Matt.22.41  Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question,
Matt.24.21  For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be.
Matt.25.19  Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them.
Matt.26.6  Now when Jesus was at Bethany in the house of Simon the leper,
Matt.26.17  Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying, "Where will you have us prepare for you to eat the passover?"
Matt.26.26  Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, "Take, eat; this is my body."
Matt.26.48  Now the betrayer had given them a sign, saying, "The one I shall kiss is the man; seize him."
Matt.26.59  Now the chief priests and the whole council sought false testimony against Jesus that they might put him to death,
Matt.26.65  Then the high priest tore his robes, and said, "He has uttered blasphemy. Why do we still need witnesses? You have now heard his blasphemy.
Matt.26.69  Now Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard. And a maid came up to him, and said, "You also were with Jesus the Galilean."
Matt.27.11  Now Jesus stood before the governor; and the governor asked him, "Are you the King of the Jews?" Jesus said, "You have said so."
Matt.27.15  Now at the feast the governor was accustomed to release for the crowd any one prisoner whom they wanted.
Matt.27.20  Now the chief priests and the elders persuaded the people to ask for Barabbas and destroy Jesus.
Matt.27.42  "He saved others; he cannot save himself. He is the King of Israel; let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him.
Matt.27.43  He trusts in God; let God deliver him now, if he desires him; for he said, `I am the Son of God.'"
Matt.27.45  Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour.
Matt.28.1  Now after the sabbath, toward the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the sepulchre.
Matt.28.16  Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them.
Mark.1.6  Now John was clothed with camel's hair, and had a leather girdle around his waist, and ate locusts and wild honey.
Mark.1.14  Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God,
Mark.1.30  Now Simon's mother-in-law lay sick with a fever, and immediately they told him of her.

Mark.2.18  Now John's disciples and the Pharisees were fasting; and people came and said to him, "Why do John's disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast?"

Mark.6.33  Now many saw them going, and knew them, and they ran there on foot from all the towns, and got there ahead of them.
Mark.6.35  And when it grew late, his disciples came to him and said, "This is a lonely place, and the hour is now late;
Mark.7.1  Now when the Pharisees gathered together to him, with some of the scribes, who had come from Jerusalem,
Mark.7.26  Now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by birth. And she begged him to cast the demon out of her daughter.
Mark.8.2  "I have compassion on the crowd, because they have been with me now three days, and have nothing to eat;
Mark.8.14  Now they had forgotten to bring bread; and they had only one loaf with them in the boat.
Mark.10.30  who will not receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions, and in the age to come eternal life.
Mark.13.19  For in those days there will be such tribulation as has not been from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will be.
Mark.14.1  It was now two days before the Passover and the feast of Unleavened Bread. And the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how to arrest him by stealth, and kill him;
Mark.14.44  Now the betrayer had given them a sign, saying, "The one I shall kiss is the man; seize him and lead him away under guard."
Mark.14.55  Now the chief priests and the whole council sought testimony against Jesus to put him to death; but they found none.
Mark.15.6  Now at the feast he used to release for them one prisoner for whom they asked.
Mark.15.32  Let the Christ, the King of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe." Those who were crucified with him also reviled him.
Mark.16.9  Now when he rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.
Luke.1.8  Now while he was serving as priest before God when his division was on duty,
Luke.1.57  Now the time came for Elizabeth to be delivered, and she gave birth to a son.
Luke.2.25  Now there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon, and this man was righteous and devout, looking for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
Luke.2.29  "Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word;
Luke.2.41  Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the Passover.

Luke.3.21  Now when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, the heaven was opened,

Luke.4.40  Now when the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to him; and he laid his hands on every one of them and healed them.
Luke.6.21  "Blessed are you that hunger now, for you shall be satisfied. "Blessed are you that weep now, for you shall laugh.
Luke.6.25  "Woe to you that are full now, for you shall hunger. "Woe to you that laugh now, for you shall mourn and weep.
Luke.7.2  Now a centurion had a slave who was dear to him, who was sick and at the point of death.
Luke.7.39  Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw it, he said to himself, "If this man were a prophet, he would have known who and what sort of woman this is who is touching him, for she is a sinner."
Luke.7.42  When they could not pay, he forgave them both. Now which of them will love him more?"
Luke.8.11  Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
Luke.8.32  Now a large herd of swine was feeding there on the hillside; and they begged him to let them enter these. So he gave them leave.
Luke.8.40  Now when Jesus returned, the crowd welcomed him, for they were all waiting for him.
Luke.9.7  Now Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done, and he was perplexed, because it was said by some that John had been raised from the dead,
Luke.9.12  Now the day began to wear away; and the twelve came and said to him, "Send the crowd away, to go into the villages and country round about, to lodge and get provisions; for we are here in a lonely place."
Luke.9.18  Now it happened that as he was praying alone the disciples were with him; and he asked them, "Who do the people say that I am?"
Luke.9.28  Now about eight days after these sayings he took with him Peter and John and James, and went up on the mountain to pray.
Luke.9.32  Now Peter and those who were with him were heavy with sleep, and when they wakened they saw his glory and the two men who stood with him.
Luke.10.31  Now by chance a priest was going down that road; and when he saw him he passed by on the other side.
Luke.10.38  Now as they went on their way, he entered a village; and a woman named Martha received him into her house.
Luke.11.7  and he will answer from within, `Do not bother me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot get up and give you anything'?
Luke.11.14  Now he was casting out a demon that was dumb; when the demon had gone out, the dumb man spoke, and the people marveled.
Luke.11.39  And the Lord said to him, "Now you Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside you are full of extortion and wickedness.
Luke.13.10  Now he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.
Luke.14.7  Now he told a parable to those who were invited, when he marked how they chose the places of honor, saying to them,
Luke.14.17  and at the time for the banquet he sent his servant to say to those who had been invited, `Come; for all is now ready.'
Luke.14.25  Now great multitudes accompanied him; and he turned and said to them,
Luke.15.1  Now the tax collectors and sinners were all drawing near to hear him.
Luke.15.25  "Now his elder son was in the field; and as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing.
Luke.16.25  But Abraham said, `Son, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and Lazarus in like manner evil things; but now he is comforted here, and you are in anguish.
Luke.17.16  and he fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks. Now he was a Samaritan.
Luke.18.15  Now they were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them; and when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them.
Luke.19.37  As he was now drawing near, at the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen,
Luke.19.42  saying, "Would that even today you knew the things that make for peace! But now they are hid from your eyes.
Luke.20.3  He answered them, "I also will ask you a question; now tell me,
Luke.20.29  Now there were seven brothers; the first took a wife, and died without children;
Luke.20.38  Now he is not God of the dead, but of the living; for all live to him."
Luke.21.28  Now when these things begin to take place, look up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."
Luke.22.1  Now the feast of Unleavened Bread drew near, which is called the Passover.
Luke.22.18  for I tell you that from now on I shall not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes."
Luke.22.36  He said to them, "But now, let him who has a purse take it, and likewise a bag. And let him who has no sword sell his mantle and buy one.
Luke.22.63  Now the men who were holding Jesus mocked him and beat him;
Luke.22.69  But from now on the Son of man shall be seated at the right hand of the power of God."
Luke.23.44  It was now about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour,
Luke.23.47  Now when the centurion saw what had taken place, he praised God, and said, "Certainly this man was innocent!"
Luke.23.50  Now there was a man named Joseph from the Jewish town of Arimathea. He was a member of the council, a good and righteous man,
Luke.24.10  Now it was Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James and the other women with them who told this to the apostles;
Luke.24.21  But we had hoped that he was the one to redeem Israel. Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since this happened.
Luke.24.29  but they constrained him, saying, "Stay with us, for it is toward evening and the day is now far spent." So he went in to stay with them.
John.1.24  Now they had been sent from the Pharisees.
John.1.44  Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.
John.2.6  Now six stone jars were standing there, for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty or thirty gallons.
John.2.8  He said to them, "Now draw some out, and take it to the steward of the feast." So they took it.
John.2.9  When the steward of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and did not know where it came from (though the servants who had drawn the water knew), the steward of the feast called the bridegroom
John.2.10  and said to him, "Every man serves the good wine first; and when men have drunk freely, then the poor wine; but you have kept the good wine until now."
John.2.23  Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover feast, many believed in his name when they saw the signs which he did;
John.3.1  Now there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.
John.3.25  Now a discussion arose between John's disciples and a Jew over purifying.
John.3.29  He who has the bride is the bridegroom; the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly at the bridegroom's voice; therefore this joy of mine is now full.
John.4.1  Now when the Lord knew that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus was making and baptizing more disciples than John
John.4.18  for you have had five husbands, and he whom you now have is not your husband; this you said truly."
John.4.23  But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for such the Father seeks to worship him.
John.4.54  This was now the second sign that Jesus did when he had come from Judea to Galilee.
John.5.2  Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, in Hebrew called Bethzatha, which has five porticoes.
John.5.9  And at once the man was healed, and he took up his pallet and walked. Now that day was the sabbath.
John.5.13  Now the man who had been healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, as there was a crowd in the place.
John.5.25  "Truly, truly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.
John.6.4  Now the Passover, the feast of the Jews, was at hand.
John.6.10  Jesus said, "Make the people sit down." Now there was much grass in the place; so the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
John.6.17  got into a boat, and started across the sea to Capernaum. It was now dark, and Jesus had not yet come to them.
John.6.42  They said, "Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How does he now say, `I have come down from heaven'?"
John.7.2  Now the Jews' feast of Tabernacles was at hand.
John.7.39  Now this he said about the Spirit, which those who believed in him were to receive; for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
John.8.5  Now in the law Moses commanded us to stone such. What do you say about her?"
John.8.40  but now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth which I heard from God; this is not what Abraham did.
John.8.52  The Jews said to him, "Now we know that you have a demon. Abraham died, as did the prophets; and you say, `If any one keeps my word, he will never taste death.'
John.9.14  Now it was a sabbath day when Jesus made the clay and opened his eyes.
John.9.19  and asked them, "Is this your son, who you say was born blind? How then does he now see?"
John.9.21  but how he now sees we do not know, nor do we know who opened his eyes. Ask him; he is of age, he will speak for himself."
John.9.25  He answered, "Whether he is a sinner, I do not know; one thing I know, that though I was blind, now I see."
John.9.41  Jesus said to them, "If you were blind, you would have no guilt; but now that you say, `We see,' your guilt remains.
John.11.1  Now a certain man was ill, Lazarus of Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha.
John.11.5  Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.
John.11.8  The disciples said to him, "Rabbi, the Jews were but now seeking to stone you, and are you going there again?"
John.11.13  Now Jesus had spoken of his death, but they thought that he meant taking rest in sleep.
John.11.17  Now when Jesus came, he found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb four days.
John.11.22  And even now I know that whatever you ask from God, God will give you."
John.11.30  Now Jesus had not yet come to the village, but was still in the place where Martha had met him.
John.11.55  Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and many went up from the country to Jerusalem before the Passover, to purify themselves.
John.11.57  Now the chief priests and the Pharisees had given orders that if any one knew where he was, he should let them know, so that they might arrest him.
John.12.20  Now among those who went up to worship at the feast were some Greeks.
John.12.27  "Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say? `Father, save me from this hour'? No, for this purpose I have come to this hour.
John.12.31  Now is the judgment of this world, now shall the ruler of this world be cast out;
John.13.1  Now before the feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that his hour had come to depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.
John.13.7  Jesus answered him, "What I am doing you do not know now, but afterward you will understand."
John.13.19  I tell you this now, before it takes place, that when it does take place you may believe that I am he.
John.13.28  Now no one at the table knew why he said this to him.
John.13.31  When he had gone out, Jesus said, "Now is the Son of man glorified, and in him God is glorified;
John.13.33  Little children, yet a little while I am with you. You will seek me; and as I said to the Jews so now I say to you, `Where I am going you cannot come.'
John.13.36  Simon Peter said to him, "Lord, where are you going?" Jesus answered, "Where I am going you cannot follow me now; but you shall follow afterward."
John.13.37  Peter said to him, "Lord, why cannot I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you."
John.14.29  And now I have told you before it takes place, so that when it does take place, you may believe.
John.15.22  If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.
John.15.24  If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would not have sin; but now they have seen and hated both me and my Father.
John.16.5  But now I am going to him who sent me; yet none of you asks me, `Where are you going?'
John.16.12  "I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.
John.16.22  So you have sorrow now, but I will see you again and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.
John.16.29  His disciples said, "Ah, now you are speaking plainly, not in any figure!
John.16.30  Now we know that you know all things, and need none to question you; by this we believe that you came from God."
John.16.31  Jesus answered them, "Do you now believe?
John.17.5  and now, Father, glorify thou me in thy own presence with the glory which I had with thee before the world was made.
John.17.7  Now they know that everything that thou hast given me is from thee;
John.17.11  And now I am no more in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name, which thou hast given me, that they may be one, even as we are one.
John.17.13  But now I am coming to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
John.18.2  Now Judas, who betrayed him, also knew the place; for Jesus often met there with his disciples.
John.18.18  Now the servants and officers had made a charcoal fire, because it was cold, and they were standing and warming themselves; Peter also was with them, standing and warming himself.
John.18.25  Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. They said to him, "Are not you also one of his disciples?" He denied it and said, "I am not."
John.18.40  They cried out again, "Not this man, but Barabbas!" Now Barabbas was a robber.
John.19.14  Now it was the day of Preparation of the Passover; it was about the sixth hour. He said to the Jews, "Behold your King!"
John.19.28  After this Jesus, knowing that all was now finished, said (to fulfil the scripture), "I thirst."
John.19.41  Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb where no one had ever been laid.
John.20.1  Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb.
John.20.24  Now Thomas, one of the twelve, called the Twin, was not with them when Jesus came.
John.20.30  Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book;
John.21.6  He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in, for the quantity of fish.
John.21.12  Jesus said to them, "Come and have breakfast." Now none of the disciples dared ask him, "Who are you?" They knew it was the Lord.
John.21.14  This was now the third time that Jesus was revealed to the disciples after he was raised from the dead.
Acts.1.18  (Now this man bought a field with the reward of his wickedness; and falling headlong he burst open in the middle and all his bowels gushed out.
Acts.2.5  Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men from every nation under heaven.
Acts.2.37  Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Brethren, what shall we do?"
Acts.3.1  Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.
Acts.3.17  "And now, brethren, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did also your rulers.
Acts.4.13  Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they wondered; and they recognized that they had been with Jesus.
Acts.4.29  And now, Lord, look upon their threats, and grant to thy servants to speak thy word with all boldness,
Acts.4.32  Now the company of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things which he possessed was his own, but they had everything in common.
Acts.5.12  Now many signs and wonders were done among the people by the hands of the apostles. And they were all together in Solomon's Portico.
Acts.5.21  And when they heard this, they entered the temple at daybreak and taught. Now the high priest came and those who were with him and called together the council and all the senate of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.
Acts.5.24  Now when the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these words, they were much perplexed about them, wondering what this would come to.
Acts.6.1  Now in these days when the disciples were increasing in number, the Hellenists murmured against the Hebrews because their widows were neglected in the daily distribution.
Acts.7.4  Then he departed from the land of the Chaldeans, and lived in Haran. And after his father died, God removed him from there into this land in which you are now living;
Acts.7.11  Now there came a famine throughout all Egypt and Canaan, and great affliction, and our fathers could find no food.
Acts.7.30  "Now when forty years had passed, an angel appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount Sinai, in a flame of fire in a bush.
Acts.7.34  I have surely seen the ill-treatment of my people that are in Egypt and heard their groaning, and I have come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send you to Egypt.'
Acts.7.52  Which of the prophets did not your fathers persecute? And they killed those who announced beforehand the coming of the Righteous One, whom you have now betrayed and murdered,
Acts.7.54  Now when they heard these things they were enraged, and they ground their teeth against him.
Acts.8.4  Now those who were scattered went about preaching the word.
Acts.8.14  Now when the apostles at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent to them Peter and John,
Acts.8.18  Now when Simon saw that the Spirit was given through the laying on of the apostles' hands, he offered them money,
Acts.8.25  Now when they had testified and spoken the word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem, preaching the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans.
Acts.8.32  Now the passage of the scripture which he was reading was this: "As a sheep led to the slaughter or a lamb before its shearer is dumb, so he opens not his mouth.
Acts.9.3  Now as he journeyed he approached Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven flashed about him.
Acts.9.10  Now there was a disciple at Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, "Ananias." And he said, "Here I am, Lord."
Acts.9.32  Now as Peter went here and there among them all, he came down also to the saints that lived at Lydda.
Acts.9.36  Now there was at Joppa a disciple named Tabitha, which means Dorcas. She was full of good works and acts of charity.
Acts.10.5  And now send men to Joppa, and bring one Simon who is called Peter;
Acts.10.17  Now while Peter was inwardly perplexed as to what the vision which he had seen might mean, behold, the men that were sent by Cornelius, having made inquiry for Simon's house, stood before the gate
Acts.10.33  So I sent to you at once, and you have been kind enough to come. Now therefore we are all here present in the sight of God, to hear all that you have been commanded by the Lord."
Acts.11.1  Now the apostles and the brethren who were in Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God.
Acts.11.19  Now those who were scattered because of the persecution that arose over Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia and Cyprus and Antioch, speaking the word to none except Jews.
Acts.11.27  Now in these days prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch.
Acts.12.11  And Peter came to himself, and said, "Now I am sure that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from the hand of Herod and from all that the Jewish people were expecting."
Acts.12.18  Now when day came, there was no small stir among the soldiers over what had become of Peter.
