Luke.16.20  And at his gate lay a poor man named Lazarus, full of sores,
Luke.16.23  and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes, and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus in his bosom.
Luke.16.24  And he called out, `Father Abraham, have mercy upon me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am in anguish in this flame.'
Luke.16.25  But Abraham said, `Son, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and Lazarus in like manner evil things; but now he is comforted here, and you are in anguish.
John.11.1  Now a certain man was ill, Lazarus of Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha.
John.11.2  It was Mary who anointed the Lord with ointment and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was ill.
John.11.5  Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.
John.11.11  Thus he spoke, and then he said to them, "Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I go to awake him out of sleep."
John.11.14  Then Jesus told them plainly, "Lazarus is dead;
John.11.17  Now when Jesus came, he found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb four days.
John.11.43  When he had said this, he cried with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out."
John.12.1  Six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead.
John.12.2  There they made him a supper; Martha served, and Lazarus was one of those at table with him.
John.12.9  When the great crowd of the Jews learned that he was there, they came, not only on account of Jesus but also to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead.
John.12.10  So the chief priests planned to put Lazarus also to death,
John.12.17  The crowd that had been with him when he called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead bore witness.
